Our Lavender Oils and Olive Oil are certified organic and are produced from plants and trees growing on our farm in Tuscany. Placing an order is a simple process via PayPal. We ship to both residential and business addresses directly from Italy; we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.

Ordering and Payments:

We use PayPal to pay for and process our orders. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use this service, since you have the option to use most major credit cards or to pay via a PayPal account. All orders are prepaid, meaning that you pay for an order when it is placed. Please include your phone number during the PayPal checkout. Quantities of our oil are limited and we suggest placing your order early.

We ship to physical addresses within Canada only via UPS Express from Italy directly and cannot ship to PO Boxes. Should a shipment become damaged, please notify the transport company and us immediately. If your olive oil arrives frozen please do not worry. Oil freezes at +3ºC and this may happen during transportation in winter. Just let it thaw to room temperature slowly; the oil will not be harmed. Please note olive oil does not like sunlight, so please keep your bottles in a dark cupboard when they are not being used.

We charge sales tax on our Lavender Oil products which varies depending on the destination.

Caring for your Olive oil:

Our oil is unfiltered and it is normal that sediments collect at the bottom of the bottle or container after an extended period of many months. These sediments will add a bitter flavour if mixed back into the oil. When transferring oil from one container to another, do not disturb this sediment. When kept in a cool, dark place, i.e. a cupboard away from a stove, our oil will keep its flavour for at least eighteen months. We recommend to use oil within one year of its harvest.

How we make our oil:

Our farm is supervised by ICEA, an EU accredited organism for certifying organic farming. We pick the olives by hand just before they reach their maximum ripeness. This ensures a superior taste, but results in a lower yield. We average only one liter of oil per mature tree, whereas a large-scale mass producer might yield 2L of oil per comparable tree by letting the fruit mature longer before harvesting, and by using mechanical as well as chemical processes for extracting the oil. Our olives are pressed by mechanical means only within 24 hours of being harvested and without being heated.
